A tribute for Anne Frank - Gone but not forgotten with ABstudio......

 A Tribute for Anne Frank, I can hear you say....WHY......well you know after the second world war everybody made it clear "This may never happen again" If you look a the world right know, all Hell broke loose. After the ocotober attack on again the jewish people
       Israel declared war on the terrorist organization Hamas.
    Suddenly everyone has forgotten what the Jewish people had to endure during the Second World War, and a large part of the world is turning its back on Israel.

Well not me, I feel one with the Jewish people. As a child I was almost not interested in anything I just wanted to know everything about the Jewish people and what they had to endure during and just before the outbreak of the Second World War.

Anne Frank is my hero,
    a young girl who described her life in hiding from the Nazis during the occupation of the Netherlands during the second world war. Her diary is the most read book of all time.

In my design I used chipboard windows a symbol for "het Achterhuis" behind the de book shelf.

The frames are a symbol for the love she had for famous artists, the pictures / photo's she collect are still at the same place she put them on. 

 

I used text strips from different ABstudio collections, I chose words and texts that most closely match her.

Celebrate Together with Scrapaholics Chipboard.....

 Today a new design for Schapaholics Chipboard, a design with great chipboard elements like SC Fern Set 1., SC Swirl Frame and SC Celebrate Word Set.

 

All the Chipboard elements I edited with Ranger/Timholtz Distress Ink Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo

 

 For my design paper I used ABstudio the Sewing Bazaar Collection, Flowers and Transfers from 49 and Market and text strips "lots of words" from 3Quarter Designs.

 

     For me the combination Scrapaholics Chipboard and ABstudio is the unique combination, it works very well together. I would like to add a third manufacturer and 9 times out of 10 that is 49 and Market.

 

    The photo I used for this design has been in the closet for a few years, I loved the color combination together and isn't it cute the amount of love those two dogs radiate for each other.

Forever Beautiful with Scrapaholics Chipboard........

 

 Today a new design for Schapaholics Chipboard, a design with great chipboard elements like SC Fairy Wings, SC Cogs and a Title SC Beautiful. All edited with Ranger/Timholtz Distress Ink and Finnabair Metalic Wax. For my design paper I used ABstudio, Flowers from 49 and Market and a wooden cross because of religion.

Besides this being a designwork layout this is also an assignment for Hermine such a sweet woman who I have known for over 30 years and whose daughter passed away in 2019. The photo I used for this design is a photo that was taken a few hours before she passed away. So for Hermine this photo is very important!!

    All elements on my layout are raised with cardboard to create more effect in a layout, but also so that you can process more elements underneath each other.

    I love designing for Tracey from Scrapaholics Chipboard, the quality of the chipboard elements is great and can be edited with almost many mediums but the original color of the chipboard elements is also great. More and more new chipboard elements appear in her webshop. At the moment the shaker are very hot. In addition to the chipboard elements she also designs great paper lines of which two are available on the market. I hope that more will follow in the future.
