A Christmas Door with Scrapaholics Chipboard.......

 

 This day a new design for Scrapaholics Chipboard, using a amazing  Chipboard Elements named: SC Layered Door.

    This element consists of four parts. I first painted all the parts Christmas red and then painted them over with phtalogreen. After the layer of Christmas red, I painted over the decorative windows with black acrylic paint. 

    After that I attached the chipboard elements together with tacky glue and the decorating of the Layered Door could begin.

For the decorating I used ABstudio Holly Jolly Christmast, a Prima Marketing Flower item 590703 and a metal door-element with this metal element you can knock on the door, a bit old-fashioned but very nice. 

All the paper die-cuts I fussy cut them all myself, a lot of work but I love to do it.

Spring Lady with ABstudio........

 

Today I have a new design for ABstudio. For this layout, I used the "Spring Lady" collection. This collection offers a fantastic range of colors. Combined with the small human figures, flowers, butterflyes etc etc,  you can create the most beautiful projects with this collection and color range.

 For my bankground I used from the Spring Lady designsheet No.2 

 "Blue Velvet"  

To give the two colors of this background an extra dimension, I chose to create a separation between two other design sheets from this collection. I punched one section with a heart punch, and rounded the ends of the other section. 

I love the small human figures, they all look different and are so so different from each other.

 Love playing with those die-cuts, they are great!!!

Timeless with ABstudio.......

Today I have a new design for ABstudio. For this layout, I used the "Big Eyes" collection. This collection offers a fantastic range of colors. Combined with the small human figures, you can create the most beautiful projects.

For my bankground I used from the Big Eyes collect the designsheet No.4  "Adventure" 

I started this layout with a piece of lace and a strip of designer paper/sheet No. 3 from the Big Eyes collection "Little Love".  On top of that, a Mixed Media thick cardboard frame ID-98, I covered the back of this frame with design sheet No. 6 from the Big Eyes collection "Keep me Warm" 

 Based on this foundation, I further refined my design, adding the final touches. And look at the final result—one I'm very pleased with.

Clown Inspiration....

I'm in Love with those Clowns diecuts form ABstudio, a great combination with the papercollection Follow the Rabbit designed by ABstudio. 

So today I'm showing you a new layout with the diecuts and that amazing design paper but also white diecut clocks and diecut text strips Rustical Time.

 First of all I made the tag separately before I made the background. 
    For my base, I made the mosaic tiles myself from cardboard, designer paper and black ink. 
    I placed these randomly on the surface and attached them with double-sided tape. 
    In between you see an iron wire that I have processed myself and attached with tacky glue

 

    After attaching the tag, I started finishing the layout, using die-cut clown/circus people, die-cut text strips, eyelets, and hobby rope.

 

See those happy face, love them......

Amazing Tag's with Adorable Clowns - Circus People for ABstudio.......

 Goodmorning to you all, today a new design for ABstudio / ABstudio store.....I couldn't resist those Circus People -- Clowns and Follow the Rabbit designpaper collection. I had to do somethin with it....and what to make more with those amazing ABstudio supplies.

I cut the unedited tags myself from cardboard because it's difficult to buy these standard sizes here in the Netherlands. For the background of my tag I used a piece of the "Very Good Advice"designpaper sheet no. 5 from the collection "Follow the Rabbit" 

I build up my design layer bij layer and increased them all with a piece of cardboard. I inked the sides of some layers with Ranger Archival Acid Free, Permanent, Waterproof Jet Black Ink.

I really love those sweet faces, they make me happy!!

Vintage Frame with ABstudio...........

 

I can't help it but this collection "The Versailles" is my favorite collection from ABstudio/store.The blues, the whites, the pinks, the gold, the green and the vintage brown....A great colour range.

I already bought 3 compleet sets and I still want to but a lot more.....With this collection the designs come so easily. Sepia photo are amazing to combain with this collction

  

On my paper base I used a stencil with white crackle paste from Finnabair / Prima Marketing, a resin from the mould collection Prima Marketing with a touch of acrylic paint from the Martha Stewart collection., The window frame is from the chipboard collection ABstudio/store and used the same acrylic paint from the Martha Stewart collection.

 

The flowers in my design are handmade with a die, I prepaird is with a tool and put the 3 layers together and made a heart from 3 pearl beads.

Notice with ABstudio.......

 

Love love frames, vintage photo's and most of all the ABstudio papercollection the Versailles. The blue colours are amazing. Blue in combination with gold, white, old green and old green/blue colours is huge. For this DT design I took 7 frames, 7 vintage photo's, 3 handmade flowers, chipboard, 8 text-strips, blue ink, pearl beads en licorice glas beads. 

    Every item of my design is raised with cardboard, (with the exception of the pearl-beads and glass beads). After I threw everything high up in the air I attached my design as it landed on my background which comes from the ABstudio Versailes collection. 

    In the photo above, you can see the handmade flower and how I processed and incorporated the chipboard leaves.

     Each frame in the design features a text strip that refers to the good old days.

    Before I close this post I would like to give you 2 more snapshots of my design, which closely focus on the processing of the chipboard leaves, frames and vintage photos.

 

    The photos are a little less sharp, but I couldn't resist sharing them with you as inspiration.

Be your own kind of with Scrapaholics Chipboard.......

Today a new design for Scrapaholics Chipboard using amazing chipboard elements such as SC Title "Own kind of Beautiful" SC Roman Clock Meduim, SC Wagon Wheels and SC Doilies.

 

 I painted/edited the Chipboard with a layer of black acrylic paint from the Van Bleiswijck Holland coulors collection.

I placed one of the bigger doilies on de Roman Clock Medium, so that it looks like you have draped lace along the round opening. Maby is harder to see because the are both black.

The photo in my design are from to beautiful young girl, it just like the are sister but they can also be friends in a very good frienship.

For my desigpaper I choose some girly ABstudio designpaper from the gorgeous "Cream Collection". The flowers are handmade with a die and designpaper from the Cream Collection.

I love the combination Scrapaholics Chipboard and ABstudio collections.

Soulmate with ABstudio........

 

OOOO I love this Tandi-Art collection, "Butterfly Whispers" great colours, great elements, amazing people/children images and butterfly's. 

I choose to make a small project with a smaller butterfly an the background. I didn't have any plan it jus came up.  

This collection has many die-cuts 1 of these die-cuts had a special text that I cut with my ruler and hobby knife to text strips and processed in my design.

 
It is about the following text that I found very catchy and wanted to share with you:

Good friends

are like stars

you don't

always see them

but they are

always there.

 

    I personally think that the Butterfly Whispers collection completely reflects this text, everything comes together: nature, animals and people.

    The colours in this collection reflect the same, each colour is coordinated and forms a whole. One colour cannot exist without the other, if one is missing the collection is no longer as fluid as it was.
