Remember Today...

 

I love the Maja Design blue colours in combination with soft pink flowers and raw Laser Cut Shapes from 49 and Market, Prima Marketing vine (old collection) and resin and a little bit of lace!

For this design I used 1 sheet from the Girls and Denim Collection "Romantic Blouse" and 1 sheet from the Summertime Collection "Glittering Water".

 

At one part of my background I used Clear Gesso from Prima Marketing with a gorgeous stencil named Swirly Florals. I really love the outcome because I thought that I used white gesso in stead of clear gesso.

As you can see I used a Prima Marketing Vine from a very old collection, I love the beads that are attached to it.

 And what about the flowers, chipboard, resin and lace....Yammie!! They all fit perfectly with each other.

Working with stencil, gesso, a lot of flowers etc etc is so totally new for me and It will take more time for me to finisch my design. Today I want to show you mij new design with the amazing Denim & Friends from Maja Design. A collection with lot's of blue colours and brown colours....de colours I like when I'm scrapbooking. 

From the collection Denim & Friends I used for my base the design sheet "Guy's in Jeans and for the layers I used the design sheet "Wood". I combined these two sheets with lots of Prima Marketing flowers from te Darcelle collection, chipboard from Snipart, cheesecloth and embellisments......

I used a gorgeous photo from my oldest daughter "Sharon's" face, the photo has a smokey appearance!!

I used multiple layers for this design, each layer is raised with cardboard, so that you can put flowers or embellisments in between..... I simply removed the title of this design from a text strip that you can find under every design sheet.

 I really love the colours from the Darcelle collection they are a great match for the Maja Design collection. I was searching for the Prima Marketing Darcelle paper collection 12" x 12" on the internet but I can't find it anymore.....

Another design with the gorgeous paper collection from Maja Design "Denim & Friends" a combination from Manor House Flowers and Bo Bunny Flowers, leaves from 49 and Market and some hardware from Prima Marketing. The chipboard title is from Creative Embellisments.....

The photo I used for this layout is my oldest daughter "Sharon", my first child and 1 of twins!! I'm so proud of here, she became a young mother, she made me a granny en she did everything all by hereself..... so she deserves to stand in the spotlight on my blog!!! 

For my design I used a gorgeous flower range from Manor House, I don't know I've they are still in business but I love them. Also the old blue/grey blue flowers from Bo Bunny are a great combination with the design papers from Maja Design.....

 

In the 2 snapshots you can also see chipboard from Creative Embellisments, hardware from Prima Marketing and some gems.

Sweet Dream.....

 

After almost a year of not Scrapbooking the blood creepes where it cannot go, my first page after a long time .... as you may remember I have been designing for Scrap Plezier for years and I will always continue to do so. I will certainly pick up this thread again as soon as possible. I would als really like to go back to International work but that will not work If you can't show manufactures new inspiring designs.....

For my first page I chose the beautiful lines of Maja Design "Denim & Friends" in combination with flowers from 49 and market, Prima Marketing and chipboard from Scrapiniec.

The flowers of 49 and Market are really great and easy to process, in addition they fit better with the Maja Design paper collections than Prima Marketing. In a package of flowers you will usually also find petals and other decoration material which gives you value for money.....

Well the photo I used colors great with the design paper from Maja Design, the photo shows my youngest daughter Chimène!!
