August Sketch and Mood Board Challenge @ LGS.......

Goodmorning!!!

Today I want to share with you my design for the new August Sketch and Mood Board over at Let's get Sketchy....For my design I used the gorgeous StateSide from DCWV!!! I combined this line with Kaisercraft Wood Veneer.....

For the background I used a Bazzill White Cardstock sheet, my favorite background colour!!!

On the photo you can see my youngest daughter Chimène with here best friend Ella, they are always looking for a new adventure.....

For this design we had to use this amazing sketch and moodboard all made by Brenshevia.....

As you can see in my design I used 1 large quote and 1 large/small photo instead of 2 photo's, normally I never use quote's in my work but I wanted something else to see if this would suite me.

Stars and Stripes with The Studio............

Hello Everybody!!

Today I'm sharing a challenge over at The Studio's, it's a fun challenge with a special mission, Inspired by America's Independence Day we want to see you use...Stars and stripes on your layouts!!! Well I'm living in the Netherlands so no Stars and stripes over here, but I wanted to do the challenge so I came up with this Idea.....

For my design I used the amazing o so gorgeous "DCWV Stateside Stack" and as you can see no photo's this time.....Chipboard pieces are from the "Kaisercraft Let's go" collection they are so adorable!!

For my background I used white Bazzill Cardstock, the colors of the stack come out even more beautiful and colorful and also brighter.

I really had a great time making this page, I really love DCWV stackes they are so different than other manufacturers.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope I gave you enough inspiration to work with the challenge over at The Studio Challenges. Take care and I will see you soon!!

Family with The Studio's............

Hello Everybody!!

Today I'm sharing a challenge over at The Studio's, it's a fun challenge with a special mission. The power of three and what does it mean ..... well over at The Studio's they want to see you using three of everything so if you use pattern paper there will have to be three pattern papers and three photo's etc!!

At some of the points I didn't follow the challenge, come and take a look and let me know what you think about it.....

For my design I used the gorgeous Prima Marketing Georgia Blues collection, the photo's I used are very vintage and the two persons on the photo are my grandmothers parents. A long time ago, my grandmother is born in 1911 so this wedding must be more than a 100 years ago!!!

The beauty from my grandmothers mother is much more with the gorgeous flower from Prima Marketing, here beauty flows through the flowers from Prima Marketing....

My title is a laser-cut chipboard piece from the Creative Embellisment collection, I love the brown color in combination with the Prima Marketing design papers!!

Some Snapshots..........

Now that I have shown you my design I hope I gave you enough inspiration to work with the challenge and join us over at The Studio's. Thanks for stopping by, take care and I will see you soon!!

Live May 2019 at Let's get Sketchy......

Hi There, it's time to reveal our may challenge and it is of course a sketch by Brenshevia, but for this month we also have something new. I know you are curious so I wont let you wait to long. This month we have a sketch to challenge but also a moodboard with lovely colours.

 For my take on the sketch and moodboard I use the Citrus Soueeze - Adrienne Looman - Webster Pages, I thought this collection was amazing for the moodboard but I was wrong and I had a really hard time to get something on paper and I really not satisfied with the outcome!!!

The flowers in my take are made by myself, the hart of the flower is an apple and I fussy cut it!!!

Some snapshot from my design.......

Some close-up's from the flowers and it's heart.......

The flowers are very bright and colourful......

I hope you like my design even though I don't really like it....but
I´ve you like sketches and you what to be a guest designer for one challenge
 come and join us and show us your work. Thanks for stopping by, take
care and I will see you soon!!

Unique with the Studio..........

Hey Everyone,

Today I'm sharing a challenge over at The Studio - it's a fun challenge - Spring, but that's not all we had to use a scrapping item for each letter of the word 'spring' to add to your layout. Some letters are quite tricky!
Here are some to help you but you get extra points if you think of any yourself!

S - sequins, stripes, stencil, stamping, sewing, sticker, stamp, silver, sun, stripes, stars, stickers, scallop, stencil, sewing, sailboat
P - pink, purple, plaid, pocket, puffy, paint, patterned paper, polka dots, punches, plus sign, phrase, plants....
R - red, rainbow, rust, ribbon, rub ons, ribbon, rhinestone, rainbow
I - indigo, iridescent, italics, ink
N - neutral, nautical, navy, news print, numbers, nature, number, nuvo
G - gingham, grey, grunge, green, gold.

For my design I used the gorgeous collection from Cocoa Vanilla - "Happiness", I love the colours so bright and lovely, amazing flowers and butterfly's.
For my title I didn't use the word Spring because I think the collection and die-cuts feels like spring....

The items I used for this take and make the word Spring are :
S = strips
P = punches, polka dots, patterned paper
R = rainbow letters
I  = letter in my title
N = nature
G = green

I really love the Cocoa Vanilla Studio's collection, die-cuts, chipboard etc etc, they are amazing collections to work with everything fits perfectly......

Some Snapshot

See how lovely the colours are and every detail is so very nice to see!!

Now that I have shown you my design I hope that I gave you enough inspiration to work with the challenge over at the Studio's, thanks for stopping by, take care and I will see you soon!!!

Shine Bright April 2019 Challenge at Let's get Sketchy.....

Hello all it's time to reveal our April challenge and it is of course a sketch by Brenshevia.

For my design I used the gorgeous paper collection from Cocoa Vanilla -- Midnight, great colors and amazing to combine with colored photo's & black and white photo's.

 The die cut ephemera's, chipboard pieces, clear stickers, die cut titles, accessory stickers are a true addition to this collection.

So as you can see I made some changes,  I placed the photo vertical instead of horizontal and I placed textstrips on my page!!
