Beautiful - Adore - Dream with Meg's Garden.....

Hello crafters and welcome to my post for Meg's Garden. Today I would like to share with
a gorgeous layout  I created using the beautiful Chantilly Cream paper collection
along with some pearl cord from the Meg's Garden Store.

As you can see in my layout you also find some different paper than the Chantilly Cream, because
I like ice-blauw with the creamy colors I used Meg's Garden business-card.

For this layout I used from the Chantilly Cream collection the design papers no. 2 and no. 5
the vintage photo and butterfly's are also from the Chantilly Cream collection
design paper cut & create.....

I could not help my self but I had to use the gorgeous ice-blauw flowers from Prima
Marketing, they are a perfect match with Meg's Garden business-card!!

Besides the beautiful flowers from Prima Marketing I used some pretty awesome
metal embellisments - beats from Blue Moon and Pen Nibs from
Tim Holtz - Idea-Ology.

I hope I have given a little inspiration for you to try Meg's Garden papers and
embellisments for your self. If you want to see more  hope over to
Meg's Garden blog and see what all the girls made!!

If you are intrested to buy one of those gorgeous paper collections hope over

Thank you so much for visiting and enjoy the rest of the day,
take care......

Origami Flower Tutorial.........

Origami Flower kunt maken.

De orginele werkbeschrijving is in het engels, ik hanteer die ook omdat het heel lastig is om
de juiste woorden te vinden.
Onder aan de beschrijving plaats ik een vouw schema.

Hoe gaan wij te werk :

1: Cut 5 100 mm x100 mm squares.

2: Using one piece of paper at a time, face the right side downwards. Fold the
bottom corner up to the top to make a triangle.

NOTE: Each 100 mm x 100 mm square makes one petal.

3: Bring the side points up to the top point so that it makes a diamond.

4: Fold back the top 2 layers outwards so that the edges that were
running vertical in the centre, now line up with the corner sides of the
square underneath. If you have folded it correctly you should have 2
horizontal edges, as shown in the second image.

5: Open up your newly formed triangles and fold down onto themselves
so that the old corner fold line is now in the centre of a kite shaped top layer.

6: Fold the points of the kites inwards so that the corners align with
the square underneath.

7: Fold the kites in half again, over existing creases. Once folded, glue the 2
outside faces together.

8: Your finished petal should look like image shown.
Repeat steps for all 5 sheets of paper and glue each petal together. Use paperclips
to hold together sides whilst glue drys

NOTE: To make 3D flower Ball, repeat origami flower 12 times.

Het vouwschema ziet er zo uit :

Thanks for coming by. Comments are always welcome... Bedankt voor je bezoek. Wij zijn blij met reacties... Obrigada pela visita. Recados são sempre bem-vindos... Creatieve groetjes van Astrid!!
