Beautiful - Adore - Dream with Meg's Garden.....

Hello crafters and welcome to my post for Meg's Garden. Today I would like to share with

a gorgeous layout  I created using the beautiful Chantilly Cream paper collection 

along with some pearl cord from the Meg's Garden Store.

As you can see in my layout you also find some different paper than the Chantilly Cream, because 

I like ice-blauw with the creamy colors I used Meg's Garden business-card.

For this layout I used from the Chantilly Cream collection the design papers no. 2 and no. 5, 

the vintage photo and butterfly's are also from the Chantilly Cream collection 

design paper cut & create..... 

I could not help my self but I had to use the gorgeous ice-blauw flowers from Prima

Marketing, they are a perfect match with Meg's Garden business-card!!

Besides the beautiful flowers from Prima Marketing I used some pretty awesome

 metal embellisments - beats from Blue Moon and Pen Nibs from

Tim Holtz - Idea-Ology.

Christmas Stockings with DCWV......

A Christmas stocking is an empty sock or sock-shaped bag that is hung on

Christmas eve so that Santa Claus can fill it with small toys, candy, fruit or 
other small gifts when he arrives. In some Christmas stories, 
the contents of the Christmas stocking are 

the only toys the child receives at Christmas from Santa Claus.

In other stories (and in tradition), some presents are also wrapped up in wrapping paper 

and placed under the Christmas tree.

Some people even put their Christmas stocking by their bedposts so Santa Claus 

can fill it by the bed while they sleep.

A perfect project for my design spot at DCWV, only I made them from 
paper, felt, tags, silver bells and twine....

I used the gorgeous new Christmas Stack  "Oh What Fun" with
traditional Christmas Colors!!

I had a lot of fun making those stockings, they are simple and easy to make.
So if you want to bright up your christmas livingroom this is a project that will do 
the job.... For me, it was the first time to create a Christmas Garland, I finished
the Christmas Garland in a couple of hours!!

There's No place like Home with DCWV....

Vandaag wil ik met jullie een layout delen die ik gemaakt heb naar aanleiding van een

sketch die in maart op het blog van DCWV is verschenen.

Hiervoor heb ik een geweldige Stack gebruikt die net uitgebracht is door DCWV,

de DIY Project Stack "Seasonal Wreaths"

Today I want to share with you a design I made voor de DCWV sketch march 2015,

I used the new DIY Project Stack "Seasonal Wreaths"

In deze nieuw uitgebrachte Stack zitten 4 papiercollectie in, voor elk seizoen 1, 
ik heb voor mijn design de Easter Wreath gebruik, 
boordevol prachtige kleuren en dessins. 

Het papier is vrij dun dus verwerkt heel prettig en is dus heel geschikt om er 
allerlei soorten bloemen van te maken.

This new Stack from DCWV contains 4 papercollections, each season has it's 
one collection. I used for my design the Easter Wreath collection, 
great spring colors.

The paper is pretty thin but easy to work with, but great for hand made flowers.

De Seasonal Wreaths Stack is zeer bijzonder dit omdat er 6 vellen met die-cuts in zitten 

zodat jij je bloemen, bladeren vleermuizen etc etc zelf kunt maken keer op keer.

The Seasonal Wreaths Stack is very special because it contains 6 sheets with die-cuts 

so you can make your own flowers, leaves, bats (Halloween) etc etc.

 
Voor de titel en embellisments heb ik gekozen voor Imaginarium Designs Chipboard, 

deze heb ik bewerkt met gesso, modeling past en daarna voor zien van 

twee laagjes Color Blooms van Prima Marketing.

For my title and embellisments I used Imaginarium Designs Chipboard, 

I modified them with gesso, modeling past en Color Blooms - Prima Marketing.

Insta Photo Fun "Lana" with DCWV......

Hi Everyone,

Today I would like to show you all a mini album 4"x 4" that I made for my GDT spot

at "DCWV" using the amazing new collection "Insta Photo Fun".

The great white dots on the album and the 4 x 4 inch foiled cardstock inspired me

so much that I almost couldn't wait to get started.

For this album, I chose the theme "Lana", our 5 year old Doberman, here brown/tan

color is a perfect match with the foiled cardstock. 

Normally I scrap only pictures of the kids and I leave our photo of our pets 

neatly in a envelloppe.

  

I used both sides of de foiled cardstock, 1 side as background and 1 side for the 

polaroid frame's, I edited those polaroid frames with masking tape, metal badges and

die-cut shapes.   

Look how gorgeous the foiled cardstock is and how easy you can make it your own....

I love this collection and bye the way I'm not a mini album person but it was the first 

product I took out of my designers box.

I have chosen to combine the Insta Photo Fun collection with the collection

"Daily Flash" from October Afternoon, see how the colors are a 

perfect match with the craft and white dots!!

Because I used colored masking tape, badges and colored die-cuts 

I also used colored photo's.

Lana is here about 4 or 5 month's old, still being a dobermann puppy....

she was so amazing and sweet!
