Paper Ornament Tutorial.....

Nog 11 dagen en dan is het alweer eerste kerstdag, waar blijft die tijd....ongelovelijk zo hard
dat het gaat. Voor dat het zover is wil iedereen natuurlijk zijn huis helemaal omtoveren in de
gezellige kerstsfeer, en wat mag er dan eigenlijk niet ontbreken.....iets wat je zelf heb gemaakt.

De tutorial die ik jullie ga brengen is van Asley Horton, designer by American Crafts.
Lets start.....oke!!!

Begin by cutting your 12x12 sheet of paper into 3x3 aquares. This will give you 16 squares and
you will use all of them to create the cones for the ornament.

Next roll your paper squares into a cone shape en secure the corner with a piece of clear tape
along the backside. I flattened the skinny ends of my cone shapes to keep them from
making the center of the ornament too bulky.

The easiest way to begin placing the cones is to cut or punch out a circle shape. I cut my circle
at 4 inches and then began placing the cones in a cross shape to make sure I end up with an
even edge once all the of the pieces were in place.

Continue to fill in the next open space with a second cross shape.

The final cone shaped pieces will need to be placed in the open spaces over the top of your
base cone pieces. This will fill in the empty gaps and help create some dimension on your
ornament.

I wanted to add some layers to my ornament, so I cut the leaf shape on my cameo and added
some sparkle to it bu applying Zazz Glitter Glue over some of the leafs shapes.

Once the glitter glue has dried you can assemble the pieces of your ornament. I also added to
some Zazz to the holly leaves die cut shape for extra sparkle. You can attach a ribbon bow to
the backside of your ornament for hanging it on your Christmas tree.

This ornament can be a great additon to your own Christmas decor or make a great gift for
family or friends.

Origami Flower Tutorial.........

Laat ik iets geks doen, altijd maar die layout's, projecten en kaarten pfffff
Ik ga jullie dit keer een tutorial laten zien, deze tutorial heb ik zelf niet geschreven.
Deze tutorial komt van de site van Kaisercraft.

De origami  bloem is een leuke en veelzijdig bloem die voor veel doeleinde te gebruiken is.
Het zij als een schattig versiering op een cadeau(tje) of maak er een hele bos van bevestig 
onder aan de bloem een groen stokje (steel) en verwerk op de steel wat bloem-blaadjes
van papier.

Wat heb je nodig :
1. scrapbook papier
2. een schaar
3. lijm
4. paper clips

Ik denk dat iedereen dit wel in huis heeft, vind je het zonde om hele velle scrapbook papier
hier voor aan te snijden misschien heb je tijd genoeg rest papier waaruit je deze prachtige
Origami Flower kunt maken.

De orginele werkbeschrijving is in het engels, ik hanteer die ook omdat het heel lastig is om
de juiste woorden te vinden.
Onder aan de beschrijving plaats ik een vouw schema.

Hoe gaan wij te werk :

1: Cut 5 100 mm x100 mm squares.

2: Using one piece of paper at a time, face the right side downwards. Fold the
bottom corner up to the top to make a triangle.

NOTE: Each 100 mm x 100 mm square makes one petal.

3: Bring the side points up to the top point so that it makes a diamond.

4: Fold back the top 2 layers outwards so that the edges that were
 running vertical in the centre, now line up with the corner sides of the
square underneath. If you have folded it correctly you should have 2
horizontal edges, as shown in the second image.

5: Open up your newly formed triangles and fold down onto themselves
so that the old corner fold line is now in the centre of a kite shaped top layer.

6: Fold the points of the kites inwards so that the corners align with
the square underneath.

7: Fold the kites in half again, over existing creases. Once folded, glue the 2
outside faces together.

8: Your finished petal should look like image shown.
Repeat steps for all 5 sheets of paper and glue each petal together. Use paperclips
to hold together sides whilst glue drys

NOTE: To make 3D flower Ball, repeat origami flower 12 times.
