June 15th Challenge with Let's get Sketchy......

Hello everyone,

It's time for our June 15th challenge at Let's get Sketchy. A great reveal again with a sketch that's made by Brenshevia. For this challenge I used a gorgeous paper collection made by October Afternoon "Daily Flash" A real boy collection with a lot of arrow's, smile's, photo camera's!!

True Story......

For my base I used a design sheet  from the Daily Flash collection, on top of that I took a piece of white cardstock. So now I can start my design with some pieces of designpaper, chipboard elements and Tin Pins!!

Als je een fototoestel in de aanslag hebt, maak je tijdens leuke momenten

snel wat "snapshots" achter elkaar.

Meestal zitter er goed gelukte opnamens bij en die verwerk je natuurlijk

op prachtige lay-outs die ontstaan zijn uit geweldig dessin papier.

Werkwijze :

Ik heb voor dit lay-out een basis gebruikt van wit Cardstock, 

Het lay-out is opgebouwd uit stroken papier waarvan de lengte 

bij allemaal 30,5 cm is, in de breedte verschillen zij van grote.

Het middelste gedeelte waarvan het dessinpapier lijkt op een houtenplank

heb ik dit keer bewerkt.

Ik heb 3 journaling cards gepakt die goed bij elkaar passen maar die er ook

een beetje uitspringen. Deze journaling cards heb ik verhoogd d.m.v.

chipboard en bevestigd met dubbelzijdig tape. 

De foto in dit layout heb ik zelf afgedruk op wit cardstock en daarna 

gemat op de zelfde kleur papier als de journaling card, afgewerkt met 

chipboard elementen van de zelfde collectie.

Voor de andere twee Journaling Cards geldt hetzelfde alleen afgewerkt

met chipboard elementen uit de zelfde collectie

Gebruikte Materialen :

October Afternoon Dialy Flash Collection "All Boy", Bazzill wit Cardstock,

Snijmesje, -mat en liniaal, dubbelzijdig tape.

Snapshots with Cards en Scrap.....

Met de geweldige papierlijn "All Boy" van October Afternoon kun je eigenlijk niet

anders dan geweldige layouts maken.....al zeg ik het zelf!!!

Deze papierlijn bevat geweldige kleuren maar ook geweldige producten....de

kleuren donkerblauw, rood, groen, geel, bruin etc zijn zo onwijs 

goed op elkaar afgestemd....

Daarnaast is de papierlijn "All Boy" heel goed te combineren met de papierlijn

"Daily Flash" ook van October Afternoon.

De foto's op mijn layout zijn afkomstig van instragram en gemaakt met een

mobiele telefoon. Mijn ervaring met dit soort foto's is dat zij vaak niet echt heel

scherp zijn, vandaar dat ik voor de optie zelf printen heb gekozen 

op wit effen cardstock.

De twee basisvellen komen uit de collectie "All Boy" de tekst strip boven aan

het layout en het stuk papier met de tekst Photographs komen uit de collectie

"Daily Flash"

Zoals jullie kunnen zien heb ik tussen de foto's en het einde van van de "Daily

Flash" papierlijn verschillende soorten die-cuts, chipboard en frames verwerkt,

daarin heb ik ook met verschillende soorte hoogtes gewerkt. 

Maar dat is nog niet alles de die-cuts, chipboard en frames zijn van twee 

verschillende soorten papierlijnen.

Tevens wil ik met jullie nog wat detail-foto delen.

Sorry dat ik jullie dit keer geen hele foto van het layout show
maar i.v.m. licht val wordt de foto zo flets dat hij niet 
om aan te zien is.

Insta Photo Fun "Lana" with DCWV......

Hi Everyone,

Today I would like to show you all a mini album 4"x 4" that I made for my GDT spot

at "DCWV" using the amazing new collection "Insta Photo Fun".

The great white dots on the album and the 4 x 4 inch foiled cardstock inspired me

so much that I almost couldn't wait to get started.

For this album, I chose the theme "Lana", our 5 year old Doberman, here brown/tan

color is a perfect match with the foiled cardstock. 

Normally I scrap only pictures of the kids and I leave our photo of our pets 

neatly in a envelloppe.

  

I used both sides of de foiled cardstock, 1 side as background and 1 side for the 

polaroid frame's, I edited those polaroid frames with masking tape, metal badges and

die-cut shapes.   

Look how gorgeous the foiled cardstock is and how easy you can make it your own....

I love this collection and bye the way I'm not a mini album person but it was the first 

product I took out of my designers box.

I have chosen to combine the Insta Photo Fun collection with the collection

"Daily Flash" from October Afternoon, see how the colors are a 

perfect match with the craft and white dots!!

Because I used colored masking tape, badges and colored die-cuts 

I also used colored photo's.

Lana is here about 4 or 5 month's old, still being a dobermann puppy....

she was so amazing and sweet!

Love at first side.....een layout gedesignd met de prachtige papierliin van 

October Afternoon "Daily Flash"

Een layout dat alleen maar bestaat uit designpapier en papieren die-cuts,

waarbij sommige verhoogd zijn en andere weer niet.

De prachtige foto van mijn zoon Bo en zijn onwijs mooie vriendin Laura.....

heb ik zelf afgedruk op wit effen cardstock.

Het is layout is strak, clean en simpel met een vleugje LOVE elementen

waardoor je het layout net een andere wending geeft.
Daarnaast vind je veel die-cuts terug op het layout die zorgen voor
dat het layout 1 geheel wordt.

Hieronder laat ik jullie nog een close up's zien van het layout.
