Family with the 15th challenge @ Let's get Sketchy.......

Today on my blog the second reveal for october 2018 at the Let's get Sketchy blog, again a reveal with a great sketch made by Brenshevia!! For my design I used the gorgeous paper collection Stargazer from Kaisercraft. I love this collection, a lot a bleu colors, great collectables and design sheets!

The placed my photo in the centre of my design, the photo is in between borders, if you see the sketch you will notice that I made them higher and distress them. Instead of placing strips of design paper vertically in my design I placed them horizontal.

For my title I used a chipboard piece, I edited this piece with clear gesso and heavy gesso. I don't know what went wrong but it looks like it has been crackled!!

Family is the title of my page, the chipboard piece I used is allmost 30 cm long.....am very fond of these chipboard pieces!! They are from Creative Embellisments....

In de borders I placed some collectables to create some gorgeous flowers!!!

To ge all of this I used this amazing sketch from Brenshevia...

I hope you like my design-layout but most of all I hope I gave you enough inspiration to join us at Let's get Sketchy and work with this amazing sketch! So if you like sketches and you want to be challenged make sure you pop on over to our blog. You can win amazing prizes!!

So very Sweet with the 15th challenge @ LGS.....

Today on my blog the second reveal for september 2018 at the Let's get Sketchy blog, again a reveal with a great sketch made by Brenshevia!! For my design I used the gorgeous paper collection "Hike & Seek" from Kaisercraft in combination with 49 & Market!!!

For my base I used 2 sheets of designpaper from the Hike & Seek collection, the design sheet which is the definitive basis I have strengthened with chipboard, the second design sheet I sanded 14 to 15 cm in the left corner to the middle, I also strengthened this one with chipboard. Two parts have now been created in the left corner,
I applied the rope technique to these parts, with this technique a kind of wave is created. The photo I used is one of my granddaughter Jealee Diana, the photo is matted with a piece of design sheet and also provided with two collectables from the same collection. Under the created wave I placed a lot of flowers from the 49 & Market collection - colors are natural blush and sage cluster.

I had a hard time to made it my own and I hope you enjoy what you see and what you can make with a sketch. My advice do never copy a sketch with you entry in a challenge, try to lift some elements and make it your one!!

To get all of this I used this sketch from Brenshevia

Today on my blog the 2nd reveal for june 2018 at the Let's get Sketchy blog, again a reveal with a great sketch made by Brenshevia!! A striking colour palette of dusty pink, forest green and warm mustard paired with quirky florals and bold patterns make this on trend collection one for the young at heart!

For my base I used a designsheet with the name "Fleur collection - Dreamer", for me the most gorgeous one of the collection, not the easiest one, this special designsheet was calling me and it said work with me I'm to gorgeous to leave me unprocessed!
For my design I used some leftovers, collectables, a lot of inspiration and of course this amazing sketch from Brenshevia.....

So as you can see I toke pieces from the sketch to make it my own....with a lot of inspiration you can do a lot of things with this sketch.

On the snapshots you can see that I didn't use that much of paper and collectables because of the background!! Beautiful with the 15th challenge at Let's get Sketchy.......

Today on my blog the 2nd reveal for may 2018 at the Let's get Sketchy blog, again a reveal with a great sketch made by Brenshevia!! For my design I used the gorgeous paper collection Misty Mountains from Kaisercraft..........discover the hidden romance of Misty Mountains. Shades of mauve, indigo and soft pink paired with deep moody florals make this collection a truly mystical affair. Elements of glistening agate and etched marble will have you falling in love with the magic that is Misty Mountains........

So as you can see I have used three of the same photo's of my youngest daughter Chimène, she used taking this picture a filter from SnapChat....I thought is was very funny to scrap them but I also find them very beautiful....I framed the photo's with a piece of design-sheet before I placed them. For the rest of my design I used collectables and co-ordinating stickers.

To get all of this I used this amazing sketch made by Brenshevia.......

I AM blessed with LGS second Reveal April 2018

Today on my blog the second reveal for April 2018 @ Let's get Sketchy, again a amazing sketch to work with and made by Brenshevia. For my design I used the lovely collection I Am from Simple Story's. On this layout you can see my oldest daughter Sharon with here newborn babygirl Jealee Diana.

From the moment she knew she was pregnant she took here responsibility not only to here unborn child but also at here job and she has done that excellently. I do not know if I could have done better. She had difficult and hard moments but she fought back and I know how strong she is. On December 31, 2017 my first granddaughter Jealee Diana was born and in perfect condition, she was so tiny and so gorgeous. It is incomprehensible that it grows in your own body!! I'm a proud and love them both so much.....

This collection is amazing to work with, I love the colours, die-cuts, stickers and goals!! Some snapshot of my design I Am so blessed.....

To get all of this I used this great sketch from Brenshevia

Natural Beauty with LGS second Reveal March 2018.....

Today on my blog the second reveal for march 2018@Let's get Sketchy, again a great sketch made by Brenshevia!! For my design I used the 2 gorgeous collections from Crate Paper/Maggi Holmes "Gather" and "Heart Day" In the picture you can see my youngest daughter Chimène, makes herself even more beautiful than she already is!!

For my base I used a design sheet "Dreamy" from the Heart Day collection, then I cut out with a hobby knife and a ruler all the frames from the Gather collection "Moments". The frames symbolize the oblique line of the sketch....

When my base was created I started with my design, instead of 4 photo's I chose 2 photo's, I focused myself more on the oblique line and embellisments.

Some snapshots of my design......
