Believe in yourself with Scrapplezier.....

Today I want to show you my latest design for Scrapplezier.nl, an layout with a extra challenge "say it with an embellisment" but it is also based on a sketch that you will find on the Let's get Sketchy site.
For this layout I used the gorgeous papercollection "Ma Cherié" from Kaisercraft.  A romantic papercollection that combine a soft colour pallet of burgundy hues, beautiful hand drawn butterflies and feminine florals with a touche of the Orient and you get Ma Cherié!!

This layout comes with the Title "Believe in yourself"

You can find the extra challenge in de Prima Marketing gemstone Heart stickers and the Ingvild Bolme Junkyard Findings Rusty Typo Zip. The feelings I want to emphasize are : the love I have for my eldest daughter and the close relationship that we have together. The title of this layout is specifically focused on her, listen to your heart and you know what to do....In other words - believe in yourself!!

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you in 2017!!!

Family-fun with DCWV.........

Hi to you all, today I want to show you an Layout I made with the gorgeous
DCWV Guy Stack, I love those autumm colors.
In this layout I show you a photo of my youngest daughter "Chimène" with here
BFF "Alisya". There friendship  is so close it feels like Family....

The layout Family is built through 6 layers of paper, I modified the edges of the
second layer with a Martha Stewart borderpunch.
The third and the fifth layer I modified with a pearl strip from Kaisercraft.

So as you can see I used creamy Petaloo flowers and the are so gorgeous,
the red roses are nameless. Above the picture I placed a doiley made
of packaging material. In de right and left corner of the third layer
I used resins designed by Ingvild Bolme,
I gave them a different color with sprays from Prima Marketing.

Let's have a closer look  :

The chipboard title is from "Scrap-Unlimited", a dutch scrapbook store with lots of
jammie stuff.....I gave this title a different color with color blooms from
Prima Marketing - color "teal"

On the detailed pictures you can see that I used color blooms from Prima Marketing
in drop-lets form. These drops gives the end result something different than
you initially had in mind.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout!
Have a wonderful & creative day.

Used materials : DCWV Guy Stack, Petaloo creamy flowers, Nameless red roses,
Kaisercraft pearl strips, Metal Keyhole, doiley, Prima Marketing Blooms and
Prima Marketing Junkyard Findings.

"Let's Get Sketchy" Designteam Entry 2015......

Hi everyone,

Today’s post is one filled with a designteam entry @ Let's Get sketchy.
To take part in this DT Call I had to make a choice between 2 sketches...
It was not an easy choice, in collaboration with the great paper line
"Blue Bay" by Kaisercraft I have made the following layout.

Cherish......

Let's have a look at my chosen sketch :

I used the following design sheet's for my background
Both the bottom and the top of the design sheet "Misty" I have torn, I distressed
they edges with my fingers.

I used 5 product for building my layout "Cherish"
- collectables - chipboard - embellisments - burlap - flowers

Let's have a closer look :

I love this gorgeous flower made by Bo Bunny, lot's of glitter as you can see.

Blue Bay by Kaisercraft one of the most gorgeous line the created, I'm in Love with the
light and dark teal colors!!
The burlap that you can see in my layout was white in color, I made it light
teal with Chalk Edges by Ingvild Bolme.

At last I want to thank "Let's Get Sketchy" for this opportunity,
I enjoyed the sketch and I had a lot of fun playing with it!!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout!
Have a wonderful & creative day.

Used Materials : Kaisercraft - Blue Bay papercollection, Kaisercraft - Blue Bay

Beautiful with DCWV......

Hello All, today I'd like to show you a layout with the gorgeous Autumm colors of the
DCWV Guy stack. For this layout I didn't use a typical boy's photo, but one of my self
and youngest daughter Chimène, taken in 2014.

Beautiful :

This layout has a bunch of layers, first I started with a brown polka dot sheet on top of that
I layerd the orange bar design sheet 22 x 22 cm.
I attached this piece on my polka dot background with double sided tape.
So as you can see after that I layerd strips of design paper and attached that on my
background. The photo in this layout is reinforced and increased by chip board.
After puttig my photo in place I added my choosen embellisments and attached them
as well. The title of the layout is originally of wood, this wooden title I have traced
on design pape, cut out and distressed it. Than attached it with clossy accent
on the wooden title, it's gorgeous don't you think.

Butterfly's are handmade with a stamp, ink and some designpaper, the hart
of the butterfly is a small gold piece of glass.

Let's have a closer look :

I loved working with this Guy Stack, so as you can see you don't have to work with
boy's / men photo's or elements to get a gorgeous layout or project!!

Products I used :

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout!
Have a wonderful & creative day.

Sweet girl O'mine with Scrapplezier.......

Hello All, today I'd like to show you a romantic bright layout using Kaisercraft
the "O so Lovely" collection. For this layout I used a picture of my
youngest daughter Chimène.
For this layout I used 2 manufacturers, specialy beautiful romantic Kaisercraft
collections and gorgeous flowers-shabby chic resins and junkyards
findings from Prima Marketing.

From the collction "O so Lovely" I used 3 design sheets, chic-femme-ladylike,
From design sheet "chic" I cut 4 strips with a dimension of 3 x 30.5 cm.
From the Bazzill cardstock collection I used 1 white one, I punched both outsides
with a punch from Martha Stewart. Behind the punches borders I attached
2 of the 4 strips with a dimension of 3 x 30.5 cm with double-sided tape.
From design sheet "femme" I cut 1cm of both outsides, punch those both
outsides with the same puch from Martha Stewart.

In the pink middle portion I stampt with Versamark and a Text stamp
from Prima Marketing, let your own inspiration do his job.
I sprinkled the stamped parts with embossing powder color
"snowflake"  and heat the area with a heat tool.

When the middle portion was done, I started playing with my embellisments,
after I got the correct design I glued my embellisments with hot glue and
some of the part with glossy accent.

Let's have a closer look :

On the 3 close-ups you can see the embossed background, it's pretty cool
with a lot of glimmer.
Bye the way I have 1 Tip for you : in my layout you can see the birds,
they are sitting on a branch.
If you put on the back of the bird some 3d foam, you can place the birdy's feet
about the branch, after you attached it you will see it just looks real.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout!

Have a wonderful & creative day.
