This is a Men's world with ABstudio.......

 

  Vintage is this month really the theme on my blog especially for ABstudio. Which I really don't mind because my interest at the moment really lies with the old from the past, The photo's in my design
     are typical of the vintage style.

Love those old vintage photo's and colours. the background I used I normaly never use but because I wanted to do a men'ss theme I used this men's custome.

 

 So as you can see I used some pieces of filmstrip because most of the time when I see als photo I think of old movies.

Beautiful Blue with Scrapaholics Chipboard.......

 

Hi Craftyfriends, today a new design for Scrapaholics Chipboard, my second in April 2025. For this I made a layout and used an amazing chipboard element SC text Beautiful and 1 chipboard word from SC Baby Boy Words.

I didn't edit the chipboard elements because I love the naturel look and it combines perfectly with my choosen design paper from ABstudio "Shabby Love Symphony.

A design with lots of tag's and flower and leaves elements, in the photo you can see my youngest daughter Chimène pregnant off here second baby boy Akando.

 

    Isn't she beautiful, one of the most beautiful girls in the world. As a parent I am incredibly proud of her for all she has accomplished.

    I don't copy her, she still goes to school, she works, she has her own business, mother of 1 son and the second on the way.

 

I hope you like my design and I hope you can see that you can combine Scrapaholics Chipboard with al lot of manufacturies.

Vintage Couple with ABstudio........

    Vintage is this month really the theme on my blog especially for ABstudio. Which I really don't mind because my interest at the moment really lies with the old from the past, The photo in my design is not vintage vintage but is from the '50s - '60s I guess.

    For this design I used several items, namely the paper collection "Love for the old things" die-cuts ephemera "Rustical time", Mixed Media thick cardboard ID-301 "Filmstrips"

    I punched the 2 flowers into shape using a die-cut metal frame from a piece of design paper and applied each layer in a raised manner.

    I think the photo is so great, the colours match the design paper. Very nice to see. The pleasure of being together, doing things really radiates from the photo. In one word "Happy together"

The Mix Media tick cardboard: 

I edit them with layer of acrylic paint. 1with the colour phtalo green and 1 with the colour turquoise blue both from the brand Amsterdam. The second layer is Metallique Wax "Bronze Age" from Finnabair.

 The flower lace:
    is originally white in color but I also treated it with Metallique Wax "Bronze Age" from Finnabair.

     The photo above clearly shows the editing of different mediums.

Moments with Scrapaholics Chipboard.......

Hi Craftyfriends, today a new design for Scrapaholics Chipboard, my thirst in April 2025. For this mini project I used amazing chipboard elements like SC Town Buildings, SC Life Moments Word Set.

For me this time a mini project, I always have the feeling that this goes faster than a layout, every time I am disappointed. It goes just as fast as a layout, the only advantage is that the project is filled faster while you have put down more materials that you actually wanted to add.

This time I kept the chipboard elements natural, I find the natural color very special. For me the elements do not always have to be edited. 

 

Besides the great SC chipboard elements I used the paper collection Expected 6x6 inch from ABstudio. with shabby / vintage look.
