Snapshots with Scrapplezier.....

Today on my blog my latest design for Scrapplezier, for this design I did not use the standard 12 "x 12" but I used 8.5"x 11", here in the Netherlands they call that American A4. I also did not choose for typical girls colors this time but more colors that have to do with traveling, explore yourself, adventure, live etc etc.... I found the perfect collection for it it's one of the latest collection made by Kaisercraft, this collection has the name Let of Let's go!!

Let or Let's go stands for : 

Pack your bags, it?s time to hit the big smoke! Featuring inspiration quotes, luggage tags and travel ephemera, Let?s Go will have you dreaming about your next big adventure to London, New York, Melbourne and everywhere between! 

For the basics I used two layers, namely Let's Go 12x12 Scrapbook Paper - Carry On  and white Bazzill cardstock that I cut in three sections and attached with the sewing machine. 

I have chosen  a photo that consists of several small photos, which are also called snapshots. You can see on the picture my youngest daughter "Chimène"with here BFF "Ella". 

For the application of extra details, I chose Wood Veneer, Collectables and spray ink.

The best of 2018........

Hi Everyone,

Just thought to reminisce on the past year.

2018 was an eventful year with ups and downs.

Up's 2018 -- still on board @ LGS and Scrapplezier, I became a grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter Jealee Diana.

Down's -- treath on our freedom, still no rental property has been allocated

But still I'm very grateful for the life I've been given and I'm wishing all of us a 

healthy and peaceful new year!!

 May this world feel some much needed peace and may all of us send some love  into this world to make it a better place.

I've chosen 12 project that I made this past year!!

I tried to choose those projects that were meaningful to me or that brought  some meaning into my life!!

Thank you so much for all the support you have given me this past year.

Angel -- Let's get Sketchy January Reveal 2019.....

Today the first reveal for 2019, a year with many new sketches and a lot of inspiration!!!
As always, the sketch was designed by Brenshevia, the inspiration is provided by our amazing Design Team.

For my design I used the gorgeous papercollection, flowers, chipboard pieces and Say It in Crystals from Prima Marketing - Flirty Fleur.

Before I will show you the sketch for this month, I want to wish everybody around the world The Best for 2019!!!

For my design I used Flirty Fleur Collection from Prima Marketing, wow this is an amazing collection and I´m in love with the colours. For my photo I used an black&white one and as you can see it's my youngest daughter "Chimène Silvana"!!

The flowers are amazing and great to work with, Say it in Crystals they make the finishing touch, so if you can see I placed some chipboard piece on the flowers and underneath.

I worked in different heights, to work in different heights you create extra space to add embellishments, ephemera's, chipboard elements, Say it in Crystals, what I actually want to say is that you can add everything, everything you like!!

Moments with Midnight -- Cocoa Vanilla......

Today I finished my second Cocoa Vanilla design and I had no other choice than to published on Christmas Day....The Midnight collection is jus amazing to see but also to work with, I'm in love with the colors of this collection the match perfectly!!

The collection match perfectly with colored photos but also with black and white photographs, you can see my youngest daughter Chimène, she made this photo herself on here way to school!!

Every embellisment, die-cut, chipboard piece etc etc is perfect and so well to combine, it is also a great collection to match it with white cardstock....

I'm incredibly enthusiastic about the Midnight collection that I ordered extra design paper last week so that I can make more designs that fit well with my photos.

Little Explorer with Scrapplezier......

Pack your bags, it?s time for an adventure! Arrows, mountains and woodland creatures of all shapes and sizes fill the pages of our Hide & Seek collection! Capture your little one?s wild side as they step out into nature and embark on their next big adventure!

Today on my blog but also on the blog from Scrapplezier.nl my latest design with the Hide & Seek collection from Kaisercraft. 

For my base I used 3 layers, 2 layers designpaper and 1 layer of cardstock! I made a border from collectables an the left side it is straight and on the right side the border is slightly slanted. The photo is from my granddaughter Jealee Diana, the photo is matted and raised with chipboard, the photo is also provided with collectables.

In the left corner of the design I attached a pendulum just like in the border. This pendulum symbolizes her lifeline, which now only consists of beautiful sweet and nice things!!

  

The layout I have at last provided with text strips, I hope that I have again been able to inspire you to use the Kaisercraft products. The Kaisercraft products work really well and can be combined so well.

We have a 2019 Design Team Call @ Let's get Sketchy.....

Hello everyone!

Lets Get Sketchy is looking to add 2-4 more members to add to our already fabulous Design Team. The DT term will run from January 1, 2019 through June 1, 2019 and  could very well be extended after that time. You will be responsible for 2 layouts a month as well as commenting on entries each week.  I am only looking for dedicated members who do not mind commenting on entries and are able to upload their projects promptly.  

Why apply for our team? 

• To be inspired and to inspire others 
• You will be a part of an amazing group of women and develop lifelong friendships with women from all over the world. 
• Your work will be featured on Facebook and Instagram.

What is expected of our Design Team? 

• You MUST be a follower of our blog
• Complete 1-2 projects a month (you will be given challenges at least a month in advance). 
• Comment on participants entries (THIS IS A MUST!).  Any team member not adhering to this rule will be promptly removed from the team so please make sure you can do this before applying. 
• Commit to a 6 month term (Beginning  January 1, 2019) 
• Keep an active blog that is updated frequently 
• Post our challenge and your project on your blog on reveal day and link back to the LGS blog.

Happy -- Let's get Sketchy Reveal December 2018....

Hello all it's time to reveal our November challenge and it is of course a sketch by Brenshevia.

For my design I used the gorgeous paper collection from Crate Paper -- Maggi Holmes -- Gather, great colors and amazing to combine this with with Bazill Cardstock!! 

The amazing chipboard pieces and emphera´s will make your design compleet......I´ve you can see I took one part of the sketch and arround that I made my design.....

 On my design I used one element for the Hike and Seek collection from Kaisercraft because I adore the arrows from this collection.....

I hope you like my design-layout but most of all I hope I gave you enough inspiration to join us at Let's get Sketchy.
